His prescriptions for the future provide a brilliant endorsement for the separation of church and state, the continued need for the republic’s representative democracy, responsible to the needs of its citizens, and a harbinger of disaster should anyone who agree’s with Beck ever achieve political power. Glenn Beck: A Revival of Irresponsibility |
| For the price of admission, Glenn promises that this event will give information, inspiration and preparation to turn this country around(1). His prescriptions for the future provide a brilliant endorsement for the separation of church and state, the continued need for the republic’s representative democracy, responsible to the needs of its citizens, and a harbinger of disaster should anyone who agree’s with Beck ever achieve political power. |
| His system of charity hearkens back to the days of fealty to feudal lords for a pittance in return. His plan for the future is a revival of desperate hope of the oppressed, for benevolent masters governed only by their peity. This prescription for reform is nothing short of a road map to a two tiered, wildly disparate, third world system with an extremely wealthy minority wielding complete control over a vast majority of impoverished and subjugated laborers.Read more at newsjunkiepost.com |

| BAGHDAD (AP) - U.S. troops opened fire on a car in western Baghdad, killing an Iraqi journalist and her husband, a police official said Thursday. |
The Iraqi journalists’ union denounced the killings and blamed U.S. troops. It demanded police investigate and publicize the circumstances of the shooting.
U.S. killings of Iraqi civilians have frequently been a flash point in relations, but such incidents have ebbed as American troops assume a lower profile as part of the Obama administration’s withdrawal plans.

A decades long battle with the IRS, which resulted in numerous charges and prison time for leading Scientologists is under question. A public Congressional Inquiry should be convened to determine if the IRS has been compromised through either blackmail, coercion, or collusion, to cause such a violation by the Curch of Scientology. The ‘Catholic League’, as well as ‘In God We Trust’, have made their contempt for the American Constitution, and specifically the First Amendment, abundantly clear. | The ‘Catholic League’, as well as ‘In God We Trust’, have made their contempt for the American Constitution, and specifically the First Amendment, abundantly clear. |
| Christianity in America has enjoyed, in violation of the First Amendment, preeminent and preferential status. Christian organizations have not done this simply by their numbers, which is precisely the kind of exploitation by a majority the First Amendment was designed to protect against, but because of their flagrant and successful attempts at insinuating themselves into politics and the legislative process. |
| Unless Americans are willing to start compromising with Sharia Law(8) they may want to reconsider the carte blanche often afforded Christendom. |
| The important point to remember is that religions exists within American society, not the other way around. |
‘Can They Do That? Retaking Our Fundamental Rights in the Workplace’ |
Almost 20 percent of employers today require all employees to agree in advance not to go to court if the company violates their legal rights….If you don’t agree, you don’t get the job.
|
Over 8,000 employees are fired every year simply for trying to join [a union]. Technically, this kind of firing is illegal, but the penalties are so trivial that employers just pay the fines and keep breaking the law.
|
Even when there is a law to protect your rights on the job, you often won’t receive justice. Judges work overtime to find ways to take away, or water down, the rights given by the legislature.
|
Because judges are politicians, they respond to political pressures. They favor prosecutors over defense attorneys in criminal cases because the public wants them to be tough on crime….And they favor employers over employees because employers have more political influence than employees. I am thus advocating a new doctrine of “personal corporatehood” in which we should all avail ourselves of the enhanced rights granted to “artificial persons” in our system. This is at least as rational as the logic of the Supreme Court in opening the floodgates for complete commercial control of governance under the guise of freedom. the end of the day, us “natural persons” can try and fight city hall on
this one, or we can get in the game and embrace the benefits of
artificiality. |

Release to the atmosphere of only 0.5 per cent of the methane stored within arctic shelf hydrates could cause abrupt climate change. | a greenhouse gas 25 times as powerful as CO2 at warming the earth, were found this summer over the Siberian shelf in the Arctic Ocean. |
| “Methane release from the East Siberian Shelf is underway and it looks stronger than it was supposed [to be],” he said. |
“The concentrations of the methane were the highest ever measured in the summertime in the Arctic Ocean,” Semiletov said. “We have found methane bubble clouds above the gas-charged sediment and above the chimneys going through the sediment.” |
